Hi, I’m Katie.

I’m a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). I hold a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Psychology and Sociology and a Bachelor of Social Work degree. I support youth, teens, and adults through the complexities and fullness of life. My practice is guided by compassion, curiosity, mutual trust, and a deep respect for each person’s story and capacity for growth.

To me, healing is a deeply personal process—one that unfolds through connection, emotional safety, and self-understanding. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I see therapy as a space to support you in reconnecting with your strengths, making sense of your experiences, and moving toward what feels most authentic and meaningful to you.

In my work, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, ACT, and DBT. I view my approach as person-centred, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, meaning that I tailor each session to your unique needs, pace, and goals. With children, I use a play-based approach to help them express themselves, explore feelings, and build coping skills. Throughout the therapeutic process, I aim to create a warm and supportive space where you can feel seen, heard, and understood.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, therapy can be a place to rediscover your resilience, strengthen self-trust, and find a greater sense of calm and clarity in your life.
